### How often is the Roadmap updated?

We treat the Roadmap as a living document. While our core product team reviews the entire pipeline **every two weeks** during our sprint planning, you may see individual items move between columns at any time as development milestones are hit.

### If a feature has the most votes, is it guaranteed to be built next?

Not necessarily, but it significantly tips the scales. Votes are a primary signal of **customer demand**, which we weigh against:

-   **Technical Feasibility:** How complex is the build?
    
-   **Strategic Alignment:** Does this fit our long-term vision?
    
-   **Dependencies:** Does "Feature A" need to be finished before we can start "Feature B"?
    

### Why did a feature move from "In Progress" back to "Planned"?

This is rare, but it does happen. Usually, this occurs if our engineers encounter a technical "blocker" that requires us to upgrade our infrastructure before we can finish the feature. Instead of leaving it in "In Progress" (which would be misleading), we move it back to "Planned" until the foundation is ready.

### Can I see specific release dates?

We intentionally avoid listing specific dates (like "March 12th") on the Roadmap. Software development can be unpredictable; we prefer to focus on the **sequence** of what’s coming rather than a strict calendar.

-   **In Progress** generally means a release is weeks away.
    
-   **Planned** generally means months away.
    

### Why was my idea declined even though it was popular?

We sometimes have to say "No" to great ideas to keep the product simple and focused. If an idea is declined, we will always provide a transparent explanation in the comments of that post. It usually means the request falls outside our current product scope or would negatively impact the experience for the majority of other users.

### How do I get notified when a Roadmap item changes?

The best way is to click the **"Follow"** button on any specific roadmap card. You will automatically receive an email notification the moment that item moves to a new column (e.g., when it moves from _In Progress_ to _Completed_).

### What is the difference between the "Roadmap" and "Changelog"?

-   **The Roadmap** is about the **future**: What we are thinking about and what we are currently building.
    
-   **The Changelog** (or Release Notes) is about the **past**: A technical breakdown of exactly what was included in the most recent update.
